Job description

Harden is currently looking for a Development Project Coordinator. The candidate will join a young and dynamic team within an environment in full expansion.

Head office: Vaudreuil

Position: Full time (40 hours per week)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate development and construction projects including coordinating the approval of professional plans with internal resources to facilitate their execution by our construction team;
  • Collaborate with the leasing team and draftsman to design and produce layout options, modifications (to facades, mechanical and electrical systems, interior and all other components of existing buildings) and new buildings that meet the tenants needs;
  • Coordinate and monitor the administrative and technical aspects related to the project: administrative correspondence, opening and closing project files, preparation and follow-up of tendering and contracts, coordination of plans and specifications, transmissions of documents between the various internal and external resources and partners.
  • Develop and update project schedules, including development and construction activities as well as obtaining various approvals when required;
  • Follow-up of the professionals for deliverables, budgets and deadlines;
  • Assist in the development and conception of project tasks, including tracking deliverables and obtaining approvals in a timely manner.
  • Follow-up during the various stages of construction for coordination with the internal and external teams;
  • Follow-up on the production of site reports from various professionals, confirmations of conformity, certified measurements;
  • Prepare request for permits, etc and coordinate with the municipalities and all other authorities;
  • All other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating real estate development or commercial development projects;
  • Engineer, architect or urban planner experience (an asset);
  • Knowledge of the construction field and current regulations;
  • Ability to read architectural, mechanical, electrical and civil plans;
  • Master the French and English language, spoken and written (required);
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure;
  • Knowledge of the urban planning and municipal regulation (an asset).
