We firmly believe that as a real estate developer, we must be a driving force in helping communities and the people who live in them to thrive.
Small actions equate to large impacts
Being actively involved with a foundation, cycling for a cancer-free childhood, purchasing cutting-edge medical equipment that will help save lives, helping our neighbors and those that suffer in silence, giving a voice to artists to positively transform a space, or funding ambitious personal challenges with the benefit of the various communities—these are the ways we contribute to positively transforming people and communities. In any way we can. Continuously.
"Working together Towards a Cancer-free Future for Children"
The Charles-Bruneau Foundation’s mission is to give all children with cancer the best chances of recovery by financing research and supporting the development of projects in the area of pediatric hematology and oncology. For several years, we have joined their efforts to create a future where all children with cancer can recover quickly and with renewed health. Most recently, we have been involved directly through Harden’s Co-CEO Tyler Harden, who sits on the Foundation's Board of Directors and serves as its Treasurer.
Let’s Bond is an initiative created by a group of young professionals eager to mobilize their community, break the stigma associated with mental illness and promote mental health in the workplace. The whole sum of sponsorship proceeds and donations are given directly to the Fondation Jeunes en Tête, the Douglas Foundation and other organizations that support and promote mental health. Chris Harden, co-CEO of Harden, has served as its President since 2015.
The Harden family's impact in the Hawkesbury area is part of the history of the redevelopment of Hawkesbury General Hospital, now a full-service regional hospital. Over the years, Harden chose to make significant contributions to the HGH Foundation because of our strong belief that the region’s residents deserve access to the best possible care in their own community. Our most recent donation is for the purchase of an echocardiogram machine that HGH so desperately needs to ensure that heart patients receive better care.
