Job description

We are currently looking for a Legal Assistant. The candidate will join a young and dynamic environment.

Position: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure follow-up of appointments and correspondence;
  • Compose correspondence;
  • Assist in research, using available legal tools;
  • Manage and organize files (opening, filing, monitoring and closing);
  • Manage the calendar and emails;
  • Receive, manage and redirect requests in various softwares;
  • Perform data entry to compile hours for timesheets;
  • Communicate with clients and other files;
  • Evaluate task priorities, while respecting deadlines;
  • Transcribe and correct documents;
  • Any other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years or more of experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent mastery of the functions of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Sense of responsibility and organization;
  • Interpersonal skills and respect for confidentiality;
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English, both oral and written;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Self-motivated, discretion;
  • Autonomy and good management of priorities;
  • Ability to work in a team.
