Job description

Harden is currently looking for a Leasing and Property manager. The candidate will report to the Director of Property Management and will join a young and dynamic environment.

Head office: Vaudreuil

Position: Full time (40 hours per week)

Duties and responsibilities

Employee management:

  • Participates in the hiring process of maintenance staff
  • Supervises the employees on site (attendance, performance and quality of work)
  • Manage employees schedules and approve weekly timesheets
  • Suppliers:
    • Handles service contracts
    • Approuves purchase orders, ensure follow-up, and ensures work is done according to company quality standards
  • Tenants:
    • Handles all requests and complaints with professionalism and diligence
    • Maintain good relations through regular and proactive contacts, in line with the company’s mission and values
  • Operations:
    • Implements works and projects determined by the management
    • Ensure compliance with deadlines and schedules regarding property planning and management
    • Identifies and resolves common issues
    • Informs management in real-time of matters requiring their attention
    • Monthly management reports
    • Prepare service notices to tenants
    • Ensure that building maintenance and its systems is planned and executed as agreed
    • Be available to respond to emergency calls when necessary
    • Ensure periodic and random site inspections are carried out, particularly to validate damages, presence of debris, etc.
  • Financial:
    • Participate in the preparation of annual operating budgets
  • All other related tasks

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five years related work experience in Commercial Real Estate (shopping centers)
  • Must have experience in general construction repairs
  • Must possess excellent organization, time management skills and have a strong ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-up is required
  • French and English language, spoken and written are required
